PRESENTATION:
The milongas from Gran Canaria Island “El Patio de la Morocha” and “La Itinerante del Club” together with the milongas from Tenerife Island “La Garufa” and “Tanda Abierta”, in their interest to divulge and to spread the Argentine Tango, organize in TENERIFE ISLAND ON NOVEMBER four days of Tango, to have the posibility to make a trip to Canary Islands on that date and to be sure to dance tango.
The main idea is to combine the knowledge about the islands and tango, this time at TENERIFE. For that reason, we will organize different milongas around the island on NOVEMBER 20, 21, 22 and 23th.
INSCRIPTION IS NEEDED because matters of capacity and organization, but the fees to the milongas will be TOTALLY FREE.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
The " Milongueando Tenerife 2013 " , was held mostly in the capital of the island: SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE and in the second largest city, SAN CRISTOBAL DE LA LAGUNA (which is a World Heritage Site by UNESCO).
The philosophy of the event is tango meeting, with free entry to the milongas, because the organization is not for profit. But being free doesnt mean don´t care the DJing: It will be offered more than 24 hours of music especially designed for dancing, prioritizing the music of the 40's (the " Golden Age" of tango ) .
ABOUT TRANSPORTATION AND AIRPORTS:
The organization recommends that the destination will be the TENERIFE NORTE AIRPORT- LOS RODEOS. It is around 5 minutes drive from the center of Laguna and 10-15 minutes from Santa Cruz Center. The TENERIFE SUR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT - REINA SOFIA, is located 50 minutes from Santa Cruz and 60 minutes from La Laguna . Some low-cost airlines operate from both airports. Between Santa Cruz and La Laguna are regular buses , taxis and tram.
