"Berlin Residency" Workshops jeden Dienstag im Mai im El Yeite

Maria und Ismael sind vielen Tänzern in Berlin als äußerst sympathische Tänzer und Lehrer bekannt. Nach mehreren Besuchen in Berlin seit 2006, waren sie im vergangenen Jahr zum ersten Mal zu einem längeren Aufenthalt in unserer Stadt: "Berlin Residency". In spannenden und sehr gut strukturierten Kursen haben sie sich viele Freunde gemacht. Auch dieses Jahr werden Maria und Ismael wieder mehrere Monate in Berlin verbringen und zwei regelmäßige Kurse am Dienstag im El Yeite unterrichten.

Der erste Kurs richtet sich an alle Niveaus, er baut und feilt an der Basistechnik und -struktur. Der zweite Kurs richtet sich an ein fortgeschrittenes Niveau, er erkundschaftet und spielt mit zeitgenössischen Tangoelementen.

Eine Anmeldung ist nicht erforderlich! Einfach vorbeikommen und mitmachen! Maria und Ismael: "Both classes will start with exercises to bring more consciousness to the mechanism of the movements and will then continue with an application to combinations in Tango sequences. You do not need to sign in as these are 'drop-in' classes. You are welcome and you can profit from the classes as a single dancer."

20:00 - 21:30 * Contemporary Tango Elements / All Levels

In this class we’ll go -during the two months of our Berlin Residency- trough the most important contemporary Tango elements: Walking, Ochos, Boleos, Sacadas, Barridas, Planeos, Ganchos, colgadas, volcadas. We’ll build different combinations every class approaching essential aspects of the elements: Technique, Mechanism, Musicality, & Qualities. This class is designed to discover and strengthen our fundamental technique, in order to 'free' ourselves for the more expressive and creative movements we'll work with in the second class:

21:30 - 23:00 * Stretching the borders / Advanced

In this class we’ll explore the language of Tango in it’s very new possibilities, trying to see different uses of the embrace, build a more complete understanding of the possibilities of the body, in order to have a more elastic and organic dance, discover new connections, new dynamics and complex musical patterns, with the aim to find new ways of expressing established elements like the ones we worked with in the other class and also more advanced elements. The focus of this class lies on stretching our mind's to discover what is beyond the borders of the 'known' language.

Kosten

1 WS = 15 Euro / ermäßigt 12 Euro für Studenten + Träger einer gültigen Monatskarte von Nou Tango Berlin (da es sich bei diesem Angebot um externe Gastlehrer handelt, kann die Monatskarte leider nicht zur Zahlung dieser Workshops verwendet werden). Ab Belegung von 6 WS gibt es 10% Ermäßigung.
