This is well worth a listen for those who have been put off Sassone by the tracks of his very different, later, better-known concert style which unfortunately are played at quite a few London milongas. Another track that fits well with these is “La trilla”, from the CD album “La última cita 1947-1953″ [08427328131056]. If anyone knows the date of this recording, please do say. The date of 1951 stated e.g. by tango.info is I think incorrect. Though It seems Sassone did record this tune in that year, that version was in his concert style.
