Overview

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UN/LOCODE

Tango.info uses UN/LOCODEs to geographically organise tango information. Some articles are put into an UN/LOCODE category, others, esp. events, have the UN/LOCODE in the article name.

UN/LOCODE category

Articles that are related to a city with an UN/LOCODE, should be put in the corresponding category. This can be done be adding [[Category:ABCDE]] to the article.

Example: An article that belongs to Berlin (UN/LOCODE = "DEBER") should have [[Category:DEBER]]

One can then see all articles from that category at: Category:DEBER

UN/LOCODE in article title

Individual events are not put into categories, for them the code is in the article name.

suburbs

Villeneuve les Avignon (FRVVL) is a suburb of Avignon (FRAVN) but Villeneuve and Avignon are in two different administrative departements and regions.

Same situation for La Tour d’Aigues (FRLTA) which is in the Aix en Provence (FRQXB) area: La Tour d’Aigues is in departement FR-84, Aix in in FR-13.

Related: In Berlin (DEBER) there are locodes for some of the boroughs/ neighbourhoods. For these, the tango.info solution is to only use DEBER for the whole city.
