Please

• provide an email address during account creation.
• for your username
  • use exactly 8 (ocho) letters of the latin alphabet (abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz). The first letter may be upper case (ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ) No numbers, no äöüáéíó ...
  • avoid using the word tango. Here we are all Tangofrank, Tangotobias, Tanguero2000, tangoholic etc.
• after registration it would be nice if you write something about yourself on your user page. Examples: User:Tobiasco, User:Herbertm or at least, it would be nice if you say in which country you live.

Why ocho letters

because

• ocho is a magic number in tango
• users that sign in later shall not have the disadvantage of longer names, vs users that sign in early and get shorter.
• gives the wiki a stronger identity.
• presenting all username in a list gives a more harmonious picture if they are equal length, e.g. in tables.
