A map of tango venues in Morocco is available here.

Tango activity in Morocco started around 2006 when a tango course was launched by Vanesa Mestre at la Casa del Arte in Casablanca city. The tango festival MA tango was then organized as soon as 2008.

In 2010, tango lessons and milongas began in Fès and Meknès (see http://morocco.tangaero.com), while "the true Argentine tango" appeared during the Tanjalatina festival in Tangiers (November 2010).

Most of Moroccan tangueros leave in the Casablanca area, the most important city of the country.
